As in the previous year, the participants were given complete freedom in choosing subjects and techniques for depicting architecture - from the urban environment to sketches to design solutions. The competition was held in several nominations:
- "Drawing for the project",
- "Drawing of the urban environment",
- Interior drawing.
The exhibition of the best works of the participants of the competition was held in May in the Workplace space on the territory of the Fabrika art cluster.
“The architecture drawing competition for students is, first of all, an opportunity to see themselves from the outside, evaluate and compare their achievements in the context of other participants,” says Ernst Klimov, head of the “Drawing” department. “Therefore, participation in such competitions first of all enriches experience, reveals the possibilities of technology and provokes new ideas.”
The competition is being held for the second time, and this year the number of participants has noticeably increased. The organizers note the interest in the competition of senior students and undergraduates, who performed mainly in the category "Drawing for the project" - students are increasingly using hand graphics to visualize concepts. The organizers congratulate the winners and hope that the participants will further improve their skills in conveying space by means of drawing.
