ITALON company (CJSC "Keramogranitny Zavod") invites architects to take part in competition "DACHA Evolution". purpose - to create a dacha of a new generation, using thickened Italon X2 porcelain stoneware in the design.
Gamma X2, with which the participants of the competition will work, was developed for the design of interiors, open spaces and parks. It is also suitable for a modern summer cottage, with its children's houses, barbecue areas, swimming pools, flower gardens and greenhouses.
The line is distinguished by a large thickness of tiles - two centimeters, as well as a set of elements: sides, steps, gratings and mosaic decors, which give a certain freedom in the design of gardens, terraces, courtyards and pools.
The X2 series is partly made from recycled materials and therefore qualifies for LEED certification.
According to the terms of the competition, it is the site that needs to be worked out most of all - the main scene of the dacha life. Its area should be 650 m2, any shape can be given. Approximately half of the plot (from 250 to 350 square meters) needs to be decorated with tiles from the Italon X2 range. These can be paths and parking areas, gazebos and barbecue areas, terraces.
In this case, you should use at least three systems of laying porcelain stoneware. Laying on grass is suitable for paths as it does not spoil the lawn. Laying on gravel allows for rapid drainage of water and should be chosen for terraces or verandas. By installing porcelain stoneware on the supports, you can get additional space for pipes and wires. Screed installation - the solution for parking lots. The jury of the competition will pay special attention to how the different installation systems combine and interact in the project.
It is assumed that the entire remaining area of the site will be occupied by orchards, vegetable gardens and recreational areas, which participants arrange at their discretion. It is possible, but not necessary, to use Italon X2 for finishing alpine slides, fountains, flowerpots. The material is also suitable for stairs, entrance areas, playgrounds, swimming pools - both indoor and outdoor. The organizers of the competition suggest using Italon X2 in the cladding of a house, the base of which occupies an additional 150 square meters (without a terrace), but this is not a prerequisite either.
The jury will include Italian and Russian professionals. The authors of the best project will receive two hundred thousand rubles, one hundred thousand will be awarded for the second place, and fifty for the third. There are also three special nominations for "jury recognition".
Participation in the competition is free, designers, architects and planners working in Russia or the CIS countries can apply. Projects must be created specifically for the competition.
