Luzhniki Stadium is the largest stadium in Russia, located in Moscow, not far from Vorobyovy Gory.
At the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the Luzhniki Stadium will host the opening ceremony and match, as well as seven matches.
On November 11, 2017, the stadium was reopened after the last reconstruction by the Argentina-Russia match. The capacity was increased from 78 to 81 thousand people, and the stands were moved as close to the football field as possible.
The Slavdom company, as part of the stadium reconstruction, supplied 100,000 square meters of Paroc insulation and about 2,000 tons of Weber-Vetonit (Saint-Gobain) dry mixes to the facility.
For thermal insulation, sound insulation and fire protection, universal stone wool slabs - PAROC UNS37z were used.
PAROC LINIO 10 and PAROC LINIO 15 were used in lightweight plaster facade systems.
In the ventilated façade system, PAROC WAS 35 slabs were used. They are distinguished by ease of installation and excellent operational properties. Plates do not accumulate moisture, are not sensitive to temperature changes.
For the thermal insulation of the massive walls, non-combustible stone wool slabs PAROC WAS 50 were used.
For the roofing, PAROC ROS 30 and PAROC ROS 60 boards were used. They are excellent for flat roofs.
PAROC ROS 60 is an insulating layer suitable for high bearing loads.
PAROC ROS 30 board - the main thermal insulation layer provides a stable fire retardant base for the upper rigid insulation layer.
For the installation of the insulation, weber.therm S100 reinforcing adhesive mixture for thermal insulation was used.
Weber.vetonit JB 1000/3 non-shrinking mortar was used to repair and protect concrete. Weber.vetonit brand plasters, putties and grouting were also supplied.
Slavdom is proud to participate in a project of national and global significance! We love football! Go Russia!!!
