Modern architecture always requires an original approach in the embodiment of new ideas. One of the projects that required a fresh look at facing materials was a new shopping center in the city of Saransk.
Here GRADAS acted not only as a manufacturer of facade cladding, but also as the author of a design project.
The customer needed to reflect the concept of the shopping center as creatively as possible on the facade, which was to be combined with the name of the shopping center - "Sevastopol".
With the help of two types of aluminum cassettes, GRADAS specialists have embodied the marine theme on the facade. Artistic perforation smoothly flows into the volumetric "Illusion" cassettes, which turn into real waves due to their vertical arrangement, smooth curves and play of colors.
In the evening, dynamically iridescent "pixels" installed in each cassette add to the spectacularity of the facade.
Thanks to its attractive and modern appearance, the two-level complex with an area of 4,900 sq. m. has become the center of social life of an entire neighborhood with a population of over 35 thousand people.
