There are only a few days left until Archstoyanie, the site for which, by tradition, will become Nikola-Lenivets - the opening is on Friday. Those who have not yet done so still have the opportunity to buy tickets, book transfers and places for tents. And we will tell you a little about what the festival plans to surprise its guests with.
This year's theme is "Co-building", and, as usual, each participant will present its own interpretation, namely, reflection on the theme of rituals: daily, local and global actions reflecting the cyclical nature of our existence. And if in previous years the center of attention was newly built art objects on the territory of the park, then this season the approach to the topic is rather philosophical - the festival will turn into a series of performances. The large performance of 18 acts is based on the projects of the winners of the open call, which was announced in advance by the Archstoyanie team.

Last year, we saw Villa PO-2, a new installation by Alexander Brodsky. More precisely, it was not a villa, but its "preview", the physical embodiment of plans for its construction. So, now she will appear before the guests in all its glory and in full scale. Moreover, the concrete building will sparkle with new colors thanks to the KEDR video mapping studio.

Since the task of the festival curators - Yulia Bychkova and Anton Kochurkin - was to demonstrate the influence of rituals on our lives, it is not surprising that among the performances there are dedicated to sleep, weddings, funerals and, of course, social networks.
Thus, visitors to Archstoyanie will take part in an unusual exercise, survive the “laughter spell”, overhear the conversations of vacationers in tents, bury a giant fly and take a walk at a village wedding. And the Koltsovsky pond will be covered with hundreds of glowing "likes", recalling one of the rituals that now accompanies our every day.
As usual, the festival will offer a musical, educational and entertainment program. For example, 35 mm films will be shown on vintage film equipment right in the middle of the forest. The players and fans of Archfootball will be able to recall the recently died down world championship: participants of the archfootball teams, by the way, receive free tickets to the festival (conditions - here).
