Isopan, the world leader in the manufacture and sale of metal insulating panels, is holding a competition for designs using the company's products. Both real projects from professional architects and conceptual ones from students can participate.
There are five nominations in the competition:
Isopan special products
Specialty products include: Ark Wall, Isocappotto, Isodeck PVSteel, Isofire Wall Fono, Isofire Roof Fono. Evaluated: appearance (originality of architectural solutions; compositional and artistic unity; originality of the color scheme); technical quality of the project (layout diagram of Isopan sandwich panels; specification of Isopan sandwich panels; attachment points and interfacing of sandwich panels; compliance of design solutions with the purpose of the object); energy efficiency and environmental friendliness (correct use of building materials and technologies in the project, correct choice of sandwich panel filler for specific operating conditions; competent study of units for heat loss; economic feasibility of design solutions; use of environmentally friendly, energy-saving and resource-saving materials and technologies). Additional points are awarded for the presence of a 3d-model of the project, the use of BIM technology.
Largest object
The facility with the largest volume of Isopan products (Largest façade and roof area).
Most productive architect
The architect who will submit the largest number of Isopan sandwich panel projects for the competition.
Original architectural solution
Unusual appearance (non-standard solution of facades, complex building configuration, non-standard use of Isopan products, innovative solution using Isopan products. Selected from projects submitted for participation in this nomination by a jury vote).
Student project
Projects are accepted for participation in the competition in which Isopan products (wall / roof sandwich panels or special products) are selected as enclosing structures
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
Participants must submit to the competition:
- Information on the project (images (visualization), text, project documentation), which gives an idea of the Object;
- Description of the project with indication of data about the object (name of the object, location, customer company, planned implementation period). For student projects: title, proposed location.
Materials for the competition are provided in electronic form. Each project can be compiled into a pdf file with a description of the project, jpeg files - format, a text document with a description.
The winners will receive mobile phones and tablet computers as prizes
