Pridham Hall in Adelaide, on the border of the University of South Australia's City West campus and city blocks, serves as a link between the two. Local residents have access to both the outer parts of the building and its premises to avoid a sense of alienation. After all, it is often characteristic of the complexes of large institutions, including universities, as if tearing the fabric of the city.
The Pridham Hall on the ground floor houses the main hall: it can be used for sports, but also for a variety of events and ceremonies. With an area of 1,600 m2, this auditorium can accommodate up to 2,000 spectators. The basement level houses a 25-meter swimming pool, gym and dance studio. The lobbies deserve special mention. The main entrance is highlighted by a "canopy" raised in this place of the roof.

To emphasize the openness of the building to the city, the architects Snøhetta provided it with two grandstand staircases on the outside, surrounded by green slopes, where plants characteristic of South Australia are planted. The western staircase, in addition to rest and communication, can be used as real spectator places during film screenings, concerts and any other events. In this case, it is proposed to use it "in a set" with adjacent buildings.
