The Comcast Technology Center is a 60-story building in downtown Philadelphia, commissioned by the Comcast media conglomerate, which includes not only TV channels and the largest US Internet provider, but also the Universal Pictures film studio. The skyscraper is located next to the Comcast Center, the company's high-rise headquarters, and is connected to it by an underground passage. It is worth noting that the Foster Bureau's Comcast Technology Center has pushed this Robert Stern building as the tallest in Philadelphia. At 341.7 meters, the Technology Center is the tallest tower not only there, but in all the United States, except for New York and Chicago. And if we take into account these cities of skyscrapers, then it will take quite a worthy 9th place in the country.

The project takes into account its urban environment: the lobby is spacious, filled with works of art, including an installation by Jenny Holzer and a spherical cinema by Steven Spielberg (about him

we wrote here), a winter garden, a popular chef's restaurant. The aforementioned underpass with shops, recreation areas and art objects connects not only the two Comcast buildings, but also the Technology Center - with the metro station. Architects report that 80% of Comcast employees come to work in this sustainable way. There are 58 parking spaces in the underground garage, and six more for the trucks of the filming crews of the Philadelphia channels NBC10 and Telemundo62, whose studios are located in the tower. There are 179 places for bicycles.

Typical office floors, reminiscent of Silicon Valley lofts, are flooded with sunlight and protected from overheating by an automatic shutter system. The area of each is 3253 m2, or 12 tennis courts. In total, the offices are designed for 4,000 employees, and at each desk you can work both sitting and standing. The tower has 13 "heavenly" winter gardens, each covering three floors. There are cafes, restaurants and a gym for employees.
