International student competition "Designing a Multicomfortable Home ISOVER-2015" starts accepting applications. In 2015, the Saint-Gobain company is holding a competition with the support of JSC National Company Astana EXPO-2017. On the eve of the international exhibition EXPO "Energy of the Future", which will be held in Astana (Kazakhstan) in 2017, the participants of the competition are invited to create a project of a residential area with detailed detailing of one building that is part of the residential complex. It will be built at the end of the exhibition on its territory using energy-efficient building materials to reduce CO emissions2 and ensuring a high level of comfort for residents.

The competition traditionally consists of two stages: national and international. In order to maximize coverage, students from Russian regions will first take part in the regional qualifying round. Its winners will meet at the national stage in Moscow. After that, the two best Russian teams will go to the international final, where they will present their project along with other finalists from 60 participating countries. Authors of the best works will be rewarded with cash prizes and will receive invaluable experience, and the winning project will be put into practice.
The competition accepts works by students of architecture and construction universities from 1 to 6 years from any region of Russia, made by one author or by a team of no more than 3 people. Each team can submit no more than one project to the competition. A prerequisite is the use of heat and sound insulation materials ISOVER in the project. The criteria for evaluating the project will be its functional concept, consideration of regional characteristics, environmental, economic and social rationality. To participate in the competition, you must register on the website before December 26, 2014.
