With all the variety of facade technologies, plastering systems occupy a solid niche in Russian architecture and construction, each year enriching the country's urban planning landscape with new objects. The Fasadometriya Architectural Competition is designed to reveal real “pearls” that have implemented new functional, plastic and color solutions based on plastering technologies, including the Ceresit facade insulation system and the latest protective and decorative compositions from the Henkel Bautechnik Visage collection.
Acceptance of works began in April 2014, and for six months more than 140 works from 42 cities of Russia were submitted to the jury, among which experts especially noted the projects of architects from Novorossiysk, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Moscow. Thus, today we can safely say: "Facadometry" has found a response from Russian architects and for the second year in a row has attracted the interest of specialists.
It should be especially noted that this year the geography of participants has grown, which was largely facilitated by specialized seminars "Henkel Bautechnik" in large Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Nizhny Novgorod, Kemerovo, Krasnodar, Saratov. Participants of the events: architects, designers, builders, were able to get acquainted in detail with the terms of the competition, the prospects for the domestic market of facade materials, modern constructive solutions for enclosing structures using Ceresit technology.
The official ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition was held on October 29, 2014 in the Central House of Architects as part of the V Festival of innovative technologies in architecture and construction "Green Project".
