On November 19, 2015, the Moscow showroom Konzept hosted the presentation of the new CL.1 bathroom faucet series, developed for Dornbracht by the legendary Sieger Design bureau.
The main character of the event was Christian Sieger, the son of the founder of the family bureau, German industrial designer Dieter Sieger. Christian Sieger presented the novelty and spoke about the work on this ambitious project. The premiere was attended by at least 200 architects, designers, friends and partners of Konzept.
The progressive CL.1 series, which is coded in the name of the Dornbracht motto "Culturing Life", features dynamic, sporty forms, as well as special relief valves and economical use of water.
The CL.1 is not only a conquest of new design heights, but also Dornbracht's first step towards the development of unique relief surfaces. The mixer handles of the series are available in two different designs for sensuality and personality. Thus, CL.1 not only satisfies the growing need of a modern person for tactile materiality, but also is the optimal solution for all followers of the mega-trend "Individualization". Available in two versions, smooth or embossed, the new valve types push the boundaries of individuality in the bathroom.
With its new jet shape, the CL.1 meets the current requirements for a balanced lifestyle. The specially designed nozzle face dispenses water from 40 separate holes, enveloping your hands in soft streams of water. The mixer has an extremely economical flow rate of 3.9 liters per minute.
CL.1 (Culturing Life) symbolizes the beginning of a new stage in the brand's development, which is reflected in the name of the mixer. This is the current leitmotif of the Dornbracht brand, and the number 1 denotes the first product developed within the framework of the new brand philosophy.
The CL.1 series is available in Chrome and Matt Platinum galvanized finishes and includes a wide range of faucets and accessories for use in washbasins, showers, bathtubs and bidets. The series is perfectly combined with the products of other series, which best suits the individual preferences of the modern user. One example is the installation of a pull-out hand shower on the sink, the particularly wide and soft jet of which allows you to quickly and easily wash your hair. Another of the successful options is the arbitrary installation of water supply points and their control elements. This creates a number of alternative customization options. Special comfort is guaranteed by the control of Smart Tools switches. These digital controls allow you to control the temperature and water flow with absolute precision, make it possible to create and save your own scenarios and desired functions and activate them at the touch of a button.
