A municipal kindergarten has appeared on the outskirts of the city of Liberec, in the Vratislavice nad Nisou region: in the future, a new residential area will appear around, but the environment is still quite rural: single-family houses and fields. The site itself can hardly be called convenient: it is a slope facing north, shaded by the historic building of an art high school. A significant part of it is occupied by asphalt paths and parking. In such conditions, the way out, according to the thought of Pyotr Stolin and Alena Michekova, was a building - an elongated letter "P" in the plan, with two long two-story wings for 25 children each and connecting them with a low volume with a roof-terrace.

The brick building was sheathed on the outside with fiberglass on a wooden frame, which blurs the boundaries of the building when viewed from the inside and outside. Smooth sheets are used in the courtyard, with trapezoidal profiles on the street facades. The source of inspiration for the authors is the work of the Japanese architect Takaharu Tezuka.

The play area in the courtyard continues on the roof of the one-story wing and on the outer galleries on a metal frame (which are hidden behind fiberglass). Rooms for children are open to the outside with panoramic windows, are visually connected through "atriums", they have different shapes and heights: this creates an image of an entertaining jungle or labyrinth, and not a harsh "preschool".
The lower tier is occupied by the sleeping area, while the game and training rooms are located above. In the lower wing there is a canteen for 30 children and four adults, offices of four teachers and a director, and a changing room. The technical part includes a kitchen, a changing room for employees, utility rooms and storage rooms. The total construction area was 915 m2, the budget was CZK 40 million (about EUR 1.5 million).
