Hilti's curriculum includes over forty webinars for a wide variety of professionals. The most interesting for architects and investors are webinars on combining brickwork and a curtain ventilated facade.

A company representative explains four Hilti masonry and masonry techniques. The first method hardly differs from traditional masonry. The supporting subsystem for future masonry is assembled on powerful brackets and reinforced stainless steel profiles, and a full-size or lightweight facing brick is laid on it using the traditional method. But in more detail, this webinar explores three other methods. This is primarily a system for grouting clinker tiles (tiles with cuts from 14 mm thick). This method is extremely popular today among architects, because in appearance, grout-based brick tiles are practically indistinguishable from solid bricks, and their cost is significantly lower. But for a good result, certain conditions must be observed, which is what the Hilti specialist tells about, demonstrating informative videos from the construction site showing the speed and convenience of the Hilti method (for example, one Hilti worker closes 1 m2 of cladding in 7 minutes, and other methods for closing such the same surfaces require two workers and, accordingly, 12 minutes).

The third method is a system for dry fastening of brick or concrete tiles. Its advantages lie in the possibility of installation in any weather and in the convenience of repairing the facade, since the tiles are easy to dismantle. At the same time, the strength of the installation is ensured by anti-vandal tabs.

The fourth method, the most cost-effective, was developed jointly with Knauf. Knauf Aquapanel® slabs are installed using stainless self-tapping screws directly on the supporting profiles of the metal subsystem and take part of the load, and clinker or small-format ceramic tiles are attached to it by the adhesive method. In this case, pre-assembly at the factory is possible: pre-assembled modules with precise geometry are delivered to the construction site and assembled. With this method, you can imitate the most whimsical masonry. It is also useful for complex façade geometries.

In addition, Hilti develops an album of technical solutions, tests all systems in such parameters as load-bearing capacity, fire resistance, climatic and seismic resistance, and has technical certificates for all systems. Another factor in the convenience of working with Hilti is that the company provides technical support at all stages of design and construction, from the "P" stage to the completion of construction. You can get an idea of what support exactly is by listening to the webinar.

For architects, a webinar on combining natural stone slabs and a hinged ventilation facade will be just as meaningful and relevant.

More information on Hilti webinars can be found on the company's website, on the "Learning Center" page.
