The Stone Waves ensemble will include not only apartments, but also commercial establishments and infrastructure facilities. Combining these elements with landscaping and public spaces, the complex will become a fusion system - an example of a modern residential area, according to Boeri.
The structure will be erected on a platform base, on which low-rise buildings with a series of courtyards will be located: they will be simultaneously connected with the city space and protected from the unfavorable manifestations of the harsh climate. Shops and other businesses will be located along the perimeter of the site, and three towers will be erected in its northern part. This placement will allow them to receive maximum sunlight, casting the minimum shadow on the low-rise buildings around.
