In fact, I still think that although everything was done without Stalin, and here I am a fool, but absolutely according to Stalinist patterns. I don't see much difference between Gradov and Timashuk - she was also chosen by her older comrades and she was also a doctor, and not just a provocateur.

You are also right that some old people remained in the profession, and the Khrushchev era in this sense is completely different.
I also understand that you personally will never agree with the thesis about the death of the profession, because it was at this moment that you did your main things. And then how to look. Yet the subordinate position of the architect you are writing about is so absurd that it is very difficult to consider it the same profession that Zholtovsky and Shchusev had - I mean institutionally the same profession - it is very difficult.
But these are minor attempts to justify themselves, basically you, of course, are absolutely right, and it would be much better if you, or at least Gozak or Ass, told about the 60s.
