The essence of the idea of this exhibition is in its name. According to the organizers themselves, from more than 100 buildings, the expert jury selected 30 objects that most successfully implement the urban planning approach to new construction both within the boundaries of the historic city and beyond. This is the office center "Danilovsky Fort", and the business center "White Square", and "Fusion_park", and "City of Yachts", and "Hermitage-Plaza", and many other complexes. In other words, there is not a single unknown building here, on the contrary, the exposition includes only the most titled objects and reproduced by professional publications. Placing tablets with their photographs on the pedestrian bridge, which thousands of people pass every day, the organizers are counting on the recognition not of critics or even colleagues in the shop, but of the general public. It is for her, by the way, that on each tablet there is not only a description of the object and its address, but also a metro map indicating which station you need to get off at in order to get acquainted with the new architectural landmark of the city.

“Such photo exhibitions, demonstrating the achievements of modern architects, were regularly held in Soviet times, so we are not inventing a new format, but only reviving a good tradition,” said Yuri Platonov, President of the Moscow branch of MAAM, at the exhibition opening ceremony. - In our opinion, today there are incomparably more grounds for a dialogue between citizens and architects and builders than ten or, say, twenty years ago. And by launching a series of such exhibitions, we will satisfy the broadest interest of citizens in modern urban planning and architectural art, give them the information they need to consciously participate in the discussion of city development plans."

The exhibition "Architectural Moscow: An Integrated Approach" is supported by the Government of Moscow, the Prefecture of the Central Administrative District of Moscow and the Moskomarkhitektura. The project is being implemented in two stages: until November 30, the photo exposition will be presented on the already mentioned pedestrian bridge named after Khmelnitsky, and from December 15 to January 15 she can be seen at the Sheremetyevo international airport, in the Duty Free zone of Terminal D.
