The pavilion is located near the dock of water "buses", on the embankment in front of the new building of the Royal Danish Opera by architect Henning Larsen and serves as a small waiting room. It is round in plan, with panoramic glazing along the perimeter, bounded above and below by strips of copper sheets. The copper roof houses an asymmetrical glass lantern, perfectly visible from the foyer of the opera house. The architects chose the copper cladding due to its ability to "age beautifully" - this, in their opinion, will allow the new structure to perfectly fit into the panorama of the historical buildings of Copenhagen.

Despite the miniature appearance that the 110 m2 pavilion acquires against the backdrop of the impressive Henning Larsen Theater, it is quite roomy and designed for 200 people. Two water "buses" can dock at the same time. Visitors enter the embankment through a footbridge. Inside, the building is finished with oak; an elegant wooden bench, curving around the perimeter of the pavilion, is also made of it.
