The fourth largest city in Louisiana is Lafayette, one of the main economic and cultural centers of the region, according to the organizers
competition "Imagine Downtown" has serious gaps in terms of urban planning. The lack of a sufficient number of affordable and comfortable housing, coupled with a lack of parking spaces, low quality pedestrian and public areas near the central city facility - the Louisiana Institute, significantly underestimate the status of the city as a whole.
