Copenhagen's COBE has undertaken a refueling project for electric vehicles for the Danish company Clever, a manufacturer of charging devices for such cars. The main feature of charging stations that distinguishes them from ordinary gas stations is the time the driver spends there. You can fill a car with gas in five minutes, but electricity can easily take 45. In the case of Clever, we are talking about "ultra-fast" stations - with a capacity of 150 kW, but in this case we are talking about 20 minutes.

Considering the richness of modern life, the architects tried to make a pause at the electric filling station "meaningful", the recharging time not only for the car, but also for its driver. In particular, landscaping is provided around and in the station itself (trees, shrubs and a lawn), where you can calmly breathe fresh air, drink coffee or use one of the digital "options" - that is, relax in a calm atmosphere.

The project consists of "trees" - concrete and timber pillars supporting a hollow and solid panel ceiling where solar panels will be installed. The project is modular, providing for the construction of both very small and large stations - as well as the possible expansion of the already built electric stations.

The "flagship" project will be a station on the E45 highway in the city of Fredericia in central Denmark: it will open this summer and will be designed to charge four electric vehicles at the same time. Its size is 12 supports and a roof area of 400 m2. The plans include seven more stations in Denmark, as well as 40 such electric stations in Sweden and Norway. In the future, the capacity of these facilities is planned to be increased to 350 kW.
