Olga Georgievna Sevan (1947–2021) - architect-restorer, graduated from Moscow Architectural Institute in 1971, in 1981 she defended her Ph. D. thesis "People's wooden dwelling of the Russian North (Arkhangelsk and Vologda regions)". She worked at Spetsproektrestavratsiya, at the Institute of Culturology, headed the Russian Committee for Villages and Small Towns EKOVAST. 1992–1998 - expert of the Council of Europe on cultural landscapes.

Olga Georgievna is the author of detailed planning projects, one of the active creators of the open-air museums "Malye Korely" and "Semyonkovo", as well as the author of projects for the restoration of many monuments preserved there. Head of expeditions to explore small towns and villages, both in Russia and in Europe. Author of more than 150 articles and several monographs, including a book on the paintings of village houses in the Russian North, a book on the Malye Korely Museum of Wooden Architecture in Arkhangelsk, scientific and methodological recommendations for the study and preservation of small towns and villages. And Olga Georgievna was also a very active, cheerful, energetic person, completely in love with her work. A keen researcher and active organizer. She did not ignore any event that in one way or another related to her circle of interests. She took part in the ArchiWOOD award.
