As the organizers promise, these informal meetings should become an occasion not only to listen to lectures by famous architects, but also to discuss current topics, and for young architects - to show themselves, in particular, in a clause format. Among the speakers invited to "ArchApril", "ArchMay" and subsequent evenings, the organizers name Andrei Bokov, Andrei Asadov, Sergei Skuratov, Nikolai Lyzlov, Nikita Tokarev, Vyacheslav Glazychev, Mikhail Belov, Totan Kuzembaev and many other stars of modern Russian architecture. The main characters of ArchiMart are Mikhail Khazanov and Sergey Pluzhnik.

The main action took place in the main foyer of the Architect's House. Small islands of tables and chairs created unexpected coziness in this large space, while drinks and snacks provided a relaxed atmosphere. Mikhail Khazanov and Sergey Pluzhnik gave a short lecture, in which they briefly covered the history of the creation of all the landmark objects of the Kurortproekt Institute, including several unrealized ones. The most valuable thing in the story of the masters was, perhaps, not even the technical nuances of the work, but comments about customers, suppliers and colleagues, about teamwork.

Then Evgeny Polyantsev took the floor, who partly opposed his style of work to the Kurortproekt team method and told stories about three completely different projects - from an interior to an industrial architecture object - illustrating how unpredictable the practice of a domestic designer can be.

After the lecture, the guests were invited to prove themselves in a clause competition, for which the organizers laid out craft paper, coal, pencils on the tables in advance, and at the end of the evening everyone was invited to the Architect restaurant for truly informal communication, not held back by titles or merit. The works created within the framework of ArchiMart and several subsequent meetings will be presented at a special exhibition in the CDA.

This undertaking differs markedly from a number of many events, one way or another connected with youth and architecture. Here, participants are not offered to build something, as at festivals, or compete with someone, as at workshops. People just come here who, some twenty years ago, were the same young architects, and now have become recognized masters and can share their experience, talk about their life and work. Mikhail Khazanov not in vain quoted Ilya Lezhava in his speech: “The team needs everyone. If a person just sits in a corner, creates a mood and pours tea on time - such a person is as necessary in the team as the main creator. The new cycle of architectural meetings fully confirms this idea: all the reasons for professional communication are equally good, and who knows, perhaps ArchiMart and the evenings that will continue it will become a new discussion platform actively demanded by the architectural community.
