Sky Habitat is located in the new residential area of Bishan in the center of the island. Unlike most tenement towers in Singapore - standard prismatic volumes - this 38-story Moshe Safdie structure is made up of two stepped plates connected by green passages. This solution does not obscure the horizon, and also allows for natural ventilation in all 509 apartments, give them as much sunlight as they need, and also open panoramic views from the windows.
But the main innovation is a variety of balconies, terraces, bridges with greenery, which create a connection with nature for the residents of a multi-storey building; they are also comfortable public spaces where you can socialize and relax. A series of such spaces ends with an exploited roof with a 50-meter pool.
At ground level, more precisely, on the roof of a recessed podium with parking, there is also a garden (it occupies more than 70% of the site) with spaces for parties and other events, swimming pools, a tennis court and a network of paths.
