The managing director of the KNAUF CIS group, Janis Kralis, congratulated the National Research Moscow State University of Civil Engineering on its 95th anniversary by sending a congratulatory letter to its rector Andrey Volkov. Janis Kraulis emphasized the importance of education provided by the university for the construction industry and the value of cooperation with the university for Knauf.

The results of research and development of scientific laboratories of the university are in demand not only in our country, but also abroad. The teaching staff of the university took an active position in the formation of a model of education of a new level, quickly adapting to changing economic conditions, technical and technological priorities.
I wish the university to keep the high bar in construction education, to be a conductor of new technologies, an engine of scientific research, and also to remain the alma mater of the construction elite of our country. Happy anniversary!
Knauf has been cooperating with MGSU for over 20 years, and during this time many interesting projects have been implemented. The university hosted the first international symposium on building materials KNAUF for the CIS outside Germany, a number of thematic scientific and practical conferences. Knauf participates in the work of MGSU in the field of scientific research and research activities, the creation of innovative building finishing materials and the development of an idea of high living standards.
For more than four years a specialized educational laboratory "MGSU-KNAUF" has existed and has been successfully developing, within the walls of which undergraduates, graduate students and teachers can familiarize themselves with the company's complete systems, and then independently conduct special courses on them.
In 2011, with the support of KNAUF, a laboratory for energy efficiency, ecology and sustainable construction was created on the basis of the university. Since last year, a new project has been launched - a technological practice, during which students can get acquainted with the process of finishing buildings at real construction sites and apply the knowledge gained in practice.
