Architect Pavel Andreev presented a project to restore the bell tower of the Church of Cosmas and Damian in Shubin. It is located near the monument to Yuri Dolgoruky on Tverskaya, at the very beginning of Stoleshnikov Lane. Until the 1930s. to the west of the temple, along the red line of the lane, there was a bell tower, first Empire style, then, after alteration at the expense of "honorary citizens" A. V. and I. V. Borisovskikh in the middle of the 19th century, pseudo-Russian. In the 1930s. the bell tower was broken and a large "Stalinist" house was built nearby; in the basements of which, by the way, the remains of the vaults of residential chambers of the 17th century were recently discovered, a whole complex that was never seriously investigated due to the rush of construction. Pavel Andreev's project, however, has nothing to do with either this story or this part of the development. It involves the construction of a new temple bell tower on the opposite side of its historical place, to the east of the church - because if you try to put it in the same place, the bell tower will block the windows of the residents of the Stalinist house, and among other things, we add from ourselves, in the perspective from the Tverskaya will be completely invisible.

So, at the church of Cosmas and Damian, it is planned to build a bell tower and two administrative buildings, one along the red line, the second in the back of the courtyard. The bell tower, finding itself in a new place, does not reproduce any of the ones that have been here before, it is quite accurately stylized as the beginning of the 18th century - the time to which most of the architectural forms of the existing temple belong. The house added along the street line, on the contrary, will be Empire style, yellow and with a rusticated lower floor. The neat styling was generally approved by the experts.

On Derbenevskaya Street, 15A, bldg. 1, there is a warehouse base "Mosavtosteklo", and next to it is a former Soviet kindergarten, which has not been working on the profile almost since the construction. The project shown to the expert group plans the reconstruction of a warehouse and the construction on the site of a dilapidated kindergarten, for which there is already an agreement from the demolition commission, an 8-storey office building with underground parking (OOO Veiko, architect TP Trufanov). The main question asked by the experts was whether neighboring residential buildings were provided with a kindergarten, given that the site of the Paveletskaya industrial zone could soon be completely replaced by a residential area? To this was added the criticism of infill development, which the mayor of the city actively opposes today. Viktor Sheredega summed up: the project needs coordination with the city plan and the transport hub of the territory, and suggested that the issue of the kindergarten be submitted for consideration by the Public Council of the Moscow Architecture Committee.

Inside the block, between Bolshaya Gruzinskaya and Zoologicheskaya streets, there is a typical Soviet ATS building (B. Gruzinskaya, 30A). Since with modern technologies such a volume of telephone nodes is no longer needed, and also due to the dilapidated telephone exchange, a project for the construction of apartments with a built-in small automatic telephone exchange is proposed for this place (ABV-project, architect IV Ostapenko). The new building with a slight indentation into the courtyard will fill the same building spot with more free architectural forms. The historical buildings here have been lost, the Soviet one predominates, therefore the authors allowed themselves to make the project quite emotional - which, on the whole, pleased the experts. The pre-project was accepted.

Near the famous Palladian mansion of Tarasov on Spiridonovka, built by I. V. Zholtovsky at the beginning of the twentieth century, it is supposed to place an apart-hotel (possession of 30) in 3-5-7 floors (LLC "Houser AT", LLC "Arka", architect SB Tkachenko). The apart-hotel will face the street with only a small facade, but it was the interaction with the monument that became the main obstacle in the consideration of the project. Although motives of nearby houses are used in the plastic of the volume, on the whole its whole appearance “… is so ceremonial that the new building becomes the central one, and the monuments only play along with it”. In addition, experts noticed a solution of the first floor that did not correspond to the style of the house, with an asymmetrical entrance and an entrance for cars equivalent in proportion to it - which makes it "as if cut off from another project." For these reasons, the group asked for several options next time, taking into account all the comments.

On Malaya Pochtovaya Street, on the site of the former plant, which will soon be removed, a multifunctional business complex is being designed (ownership 12, TsNIIPROMZDANI, architect YA Piletsky), a third of which will be occupied by offices. The complex, which was rejected recently, on July 12, occupies a fairly large area and runs along the street in a continuous volume like a giant steamer. During the repeated landscape-visual analysis from the side of the 3rd transport ring, the point of superposition of the building with the background on the Old Believer church was revealed, which distorts the silhouette of the monument. However, the authors made these volumes of the building relative to the first visual analysis, without a point on the church, and then everything was fine. In addition to reducing the volume of the project regarding the temple, there were also added remarks about the volume relative to a person - the building should not crush, overlap all views and “should be more humane”. And also in the options that need to be done, they asked to abandon the high-rise tower in the composition.

In the area of the Begovaya metro station, among the railway tracks there is a street Bryansk post, where they are going to place a bank building (DST Stroypraktikum, architect V. G. Egorov), which will play the role of a "cash desk" - for which a place at the intersection was chosen ways where the money will come from. The project involves the reconstruction of an existing small building and its integration with new construction. The question before the experts was purely urban planning, so they agreed, with one proviso - that the attic floor will be removed in the reconstructed building.

In the area of the Donskoy Monastery and the monastery cemetery, at the intersection of Ordzhonikidze Street, 1,1 / 3 and Roshchinsky Proezd 2, building 2, it is planned to build a business center with a sports and fitness complex (AM Atrium, architect Anton Nadtochiy). Although the height of the project was limited by landscape-visual analysis to 82 meters, the proximity to the monument, the Donskoy Monastery, forced the group to ask once again to reconsider its height, since it changes the view not only of the monastery, but also from it. In order to somehow protect the monument from interference with its silhouette, the experts decided that it was necessary to increase the security zone on those sides where it is practically absent. And they decided to write to Alexander Kuzmin a letter with a request “not to allow high-rise construction on the border of the monument” - this letter will be received by the chief architect of Moscow together with the project sent to him for further approval.
