The Stadthalle Hall is located in the very center of Reutlingen, where its medieval core, 19th century district and modern buildings meet. It connects these parts, and a solution based on the image of an ancient temple corresponds to its urban planning function. But Dudler was also guided by the Berlin New Gallery of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, from there, in particular, the idea of the base was borrowed.

The clear rhythm of the bronze panels on the facades is combined with the verified tectonics. An important element of the project is the “city balcony”, a terrace that completes the main volume of the building: from there, there are wonderful views of Reutlingen.

The main part of the building is occupied by the main hall for 1,689 spectators, the model for which was the Musikverein in Vienna. It can be used for theatrical performances, exhibitions, banquets (flat floor configuration is provided), but its acoustics are specially designed for classical music concerts. However, the equipment can also be tuned for the best hearing of human speech.

The small hall for 416 people is intended for conferences and congresses, as well as for concerts and small-scale events. If necessary, it can be divided into four parts.
