The resort will be located at Mount Davan, near the city of Changsha. Its main object will be the Ice and Snow World entertainment complex, where an indoor ski slope, a water park, a restaurant and a shopping center are planned on an area of 120 thousand m2. It is assumed that in the humid subtropical climate of Changsha, skiing will attract many fans of "exotic".
The architects will throw the Ice and Snow World complex over a 60-meter-deep pit (with a 170-meter span), which will include ponds, islands and gardens, including hanging ones. This space will be illuminated through an overturned glass cone piercing the volume of the complex and descending to the very bottom of the quarry. In addition, Ice and Snow World will be equipped with a cantilever pool, from which a 60-meter waterfall will rush into the quarry.
Also, the resort will erect a 100-meter tower of a 5 * hotel with 336 rooms, from the windows of which will open views of Lake Tunxi, Mount Davan and, of course, Ice and Snow World. The base of the building will house cafes, restaurants, conference rooms, fitness and spa centers. The facade will be equipped with sun protection devices, it will also provide natural ventilation of the premises.
