The Toguna Circle module is Bene's latest development and part of Pearson Lloyd's innovative and successful PARCS range. The main task of the module was to organize a gathering place for the team in an open-type office space. Toguna Circle's lounge furniture design creates an active meeting space and supports a variety of communication formats, while encouraging true team spirit. It is this two-way approach that catalyzes interaction between team members, speeds up information exchange and collaboration. The module can also be supplemented with media equipment for presentations and video conferencing.

The Toguna Circle unit with fabric-covered, mid-rise sidewalls creates an indoor room, but is not completely built-in. Reaching a diameter of 3 meters, the structure will provide enough space for 10 people to interact at the same time. As a result, we get a private work space that does not separate people from everything that happens outside. Employees can look in and out of Toguna Circle.

In a fast-paced open office with workspaces that encourage people to constantly move between personal and group workspaces, Me and We places, Toguna Circle will become a dynamic hub for one team and a meeting place on specific topics.

The materials used to decorate the interior of the module are conducive to a relaxed atmosphere. The module set includes benches, fabrics, pillows and a carpet. If the set is replenished with tables, stools and media solutions, then we will be able to create a full-fledged multifunctional hub.

Platform for communication, interaction and collaboration

Toguna Circle creates an engaging and dynamic teamwork space that captures the collaborative nature of today's workflow and promotes informal communication. “We wanted to create a design that encourages the continuous and diverse nature of teamwork,” says designer Tom Lloyd. “It all starts with a classic quick morning brainstorming session, goes into coffee and lunch breaks, drinks in the evening with wine and beer, or watching sports on TV. Toguna Circle bridges the gap between focused work and play."

The distinctive design of Toguna Circle sets it apart as the center of attention within an open office space. Situated in the heart of the team's office, the module becomes the starting point for joint action and work with projects. At the same time, the structure can be a great place for joint department meetings. It can be positioned anywhere inside the office. In the reception area or atriums, Toguna Circle is a comfortable meeting and welcoming place for guests. In addition, the module can function outside of a traditional office space, such as hotel lobbies, libraries or educational centers.

In the context of interior design, the Toguna Circle module is an example of a flexible solution. It is inherently a non-site-specific design, so it can be converted quickly and easily. Wall panels with a height of 151 cm will create the desired level of sound absorption from the entire office space. A wide range of fabrics and finishing solutions will provide an unlimited choice.

Lounge meeting place

Armed with a curved shape and a combination of finishes and materials, Toguna Circle becomes a counterpoint in the office. It is an oasis, a place to relax "in the lounge" inside the office space. Interior décor elements such as pillows provide comfort and added value to the entire structure, along with attractive colors and selected fabrics. PearsonLloyd designers have created their collection of 6 matching pillow sets with a harmonious mix of color and texture of materials. Team meetings are more effective in spaces that contain, or even highlight, an emotional note.

Media equipment

The Toguna Circle module can be equipped with the necessary media solutions, the so-called. media panels. These are elegant furniture designs for media presentations within the team. They are designed to be discreet, flexible and easy to use. The monitor is mounted on a special base in which you can install a set of accessories, laptops, connectors and cables for connecting the monitor, etc. The assortment offers 2 models of Media Panels: Low (Low Media Board) - 16 cm deep, 60 cm wide and 135.8 cm high) - for seated presentations; High (High Media Board) - 16 cm deep, 60 cm wide and 171.2 cm high for standing presentations.

To London, Africa, Australia and back: opening projects

The idea and name of "toguna" from the original PARCS collection originates in West Africa. In Mali, she describes a meeting place where tribal elders meet to make important decisions. But it was Australia that inspired the development of Toguna for PARCS and, in particular, the Toguna Circle module. Real-life stories have provided PearsonLloyd's designers with an opportunity to learn how people have used this relationship-building system and integrate this experience into the concept of new solutions for PARCS. “For example, we included a bench with a deeper seat and soft cushions in the module, and also equipped the structure with media solutions,” comment designers Luke Pearson and Tom Lloyd.

Bene continues to expand the innovative PARCS collection

The PARCS furniture system is designed to create spaces and new spaces for communication, inspiration, private meetings and collaboration. It is an effective solution for workplaces based on modern knowledge, new ways of organizing the workflow and applying a new style in solving complex problems. The most important factor, according to designers Luke Pearson and Tom Lloyd, is that “we are moving away from an immutable principle in the organization of the work process - people work only when they are sitting at their desks. Even if someone works sitting on the couch, they also create some value for the business."

Since its launch on the international stage in 2009, the PARCS collection has continued to grow and develop. Her latest discovery was the Toguna Circle module.

London-based design studio PearsonLloyd is one of the most well-known and respected firms in Europe. She has won a number of prestigious international design awards for furniture solutions and products, as well as transport design and public interior design. The main goal of the bureau is to transform the office into a more humane, dynamic and inspiring space. They question the techno aesthetics that continue to dominate the world.

The studio was founded by Tom Lloyd and Luke Pearson in 1997 after both graduated from the Royal College of Art in London. From the very beginning, a general principle of approach to projects emerged: the desire to combine the usually divided disciplines, such as the design of furniture and individual products. Bene and PearsonLloyd have enjoyed a productive collaboration and collaboration that has been going on for several years now. It all started with the joint development of the PARCS concept and grew into several awards and the birth of one of the most successful collections of Bene.
