The new ensemble will be located in the capital of the country, the city of Ouagadougou. It will be a pioneering project (including resource efficiency) for this West African country, whose economy is not very resilient. Such a plan is expected to attract investment in Burkina Faso and create - directly and indirectly - many jobs for local residents.

The area chosen for construction is now a patch of red soil with trees growing there. This color contrast was used by Gotrand as the basis of her plan, developing it according to the scheme of the peacock's tail. Like this bird, the basis of the pattern will be an "eye" - an oval. Part of the tail will be occupied by an artificial lake, part - trees, part - solar panels, which should provide the complex with electricity, another part - open green spaces, including the territory of tennis courts and a golf club. The contours of the pattern are outlined by driveways and footpaths.

As for the main program, it will be implemented in the form of 80 villas on the shores of the lake, other small structures (spa, clubs, etc.) and a 96-meter tower with a hotel, 50 apartments, restaurants and offices. All structures will be protected from sunlight by screens, such a solution will be especially noticeable on the tower: there a solid openwork metal shell will be painted in shades of blue and green, continuing the motif of peacock plumage and the theme of freshness begun in the master plan.

Terraces and balconies will be arranged between the facade and these "blinds", from which the residents and guests of the hotel will be able to admire the views: the lattice, due to its configuration, will not interfere with them. At the foot of the tower, the shell will turn into a "train" protecting the territories adjacent to the building. The tower is located at the extreme point of the site, fanning out from it, which is emphasized by the location of individual zones; The loop repeats this configuration.

The total area of the complex will be 64 hectares, the total area of buildings is 75,000 m2. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2013.
